Do apartments come furnished?

Yes! We want to make sure that your move-in is undoubtedly comfortable, fast, and smooth.  Your apartment will be fully furnished with a kitchen, living room, and bedroom. What utilities come with rent?

At Uncommon Wilmington your monthly rent will get you a fully furnished apartment and access to all the amenities Uncommon has to offer. Your rent will also take care of water, sewer waste, trash, cable, and WiFi. However, electricity will be billed separately to your unit.

Does the building allow pets?

Of course! Pets are a part of the family too. If you have any questions regarding our pet policy, make sure you contact our leasing office.

Is there parking?

Of course! Need to secure a spot? Give our leasing office a ring, they will surely answer!

Is there security?

For your safety, we make sure to make our Uncommon community is secure through a variety of measures. To ensure your safety, we have electronic keycard access into our building, security cameras in our common areas, and on call emergency maintenance and management team. We also offer a video doorbell system, for residents to control who comes and goes out of the building. Guests are also asked to check in with our front desk before entering the community.

Who can access the amenities?

What is leasing “by-the-bed”?

Leasing by-the-bed is an opportunity for freedom and independence from the normal. Here at Uncommon Wilmington we give residents the advantage of taking control over your own lease, and not being financially liable for anyone but yourself. You will have a separate lease from your roommates and will only be responsible for your portion of the total rent for the unit. 

Will I need a cosigner for my lease?

Our top apartments in Wilmington don’t deem it necessary for our residents to need cosigners. Instead, we take a modern approach, our residents will need to have a guarantor for their lease.

What is a guarantor?

A guarantor is an additional guarantee that our Uncommon residents will be able to pay rent. Each guarantor will be prompted to sign a guaranty form, this will ensure timely payments will be made for rent each month. A guarantor can be any financially secure individual but cannot be a current resident at Uncommon Wilmington. Have any questions about our guaranty form? No worries! How do I apply for an apartment?

Where does my mail go?

Each individual unit will have a mailbox on the first floor. Expecting a big package? Don’t fear! Our leasing office will keep any big packages that won’t fit in your mailbox.

Where do I pay my rent?

Once you become one with the Uncommoners, you will get your own personal page through our online Resident Portal. Through this portal you can pay rent, and link credit card or bank information in our online system. If you would like, you are also able to set up recurring payments. To reach all of this, simply log on to your Resident Portal and select the option to make a payment on the dashboard.

How do I make a maintenance request?

Our top apartments in Wilmington offer round-the-clock support for all our residents. If you are having any problems in your apartment just know that these issues can be solved with a quickness. Maintenance requests are handled through your online Resident Portal. Through this portal you can submit a work order form and track the history of past requests that have been made.
